Once upon a time there was a rocket scientist who was in the middle of his PhD, and a consultant who wanted to start a life on the other side of the ocean.
Shortly after the trip, Wilhelm, the scientist, quit his PhD and Djef, the consultant, quit his job and plans to leave.

Together they went on vacation to Indonesia, climbing up a mountain.

Their first customer? Themselves. Because before they went to market with their service, they wanted a proof of concept…​​
2017.
So they produced a product purely based on data - without any product development expertise.
The Result:
Sport Compression Socks.
In other words: they rented a 12 square meter room in the beating heart of Cologne and turned it into an office. No garage like Bill Gates, but similar air conditions. And as it got bigger than expected, their flat turned into their logistics center.

Since the proof of concept was successful, they finally found the time to focus on their own core competencies. Coming from different individual backgrounds, Wilhelm was finally able to speak all day in cryptic programming language and Djef in cryptic innovative business thinking. Both with a clear focus on a technology that empowers other companies to make AI-powered decisions.

Anything you use, do or consume online - even the device you are looking at this website from - was and still is noted somewhere. It’s data. We collected it and sold it to companies. And…
…it worked.

Lots of learnings happened.
The most important one: It’s not just the data that customers want. It’s the knowledge, the meanings, the messages. So we declared war on the internet’s data mess (yes, it’s not only a mass, it’s a mess.) and adapted our technology to be more customer-centric.

2019.
The Result: Our Matching-AI.
A magical process where heterogeneous data is collected, connected and contextualized, so that even people who like data as much as their dentist get empowered and are able to focus more on their core competencies.

The most rewarding confirmation of our work: companies believed in us.

pre-seed round with 750k.
Because in case we hadn’t mentioned it until now, both of our founders have bootstrapped their entire journey to this point.

To test this, half of our team flew to Portugal for two weeks and worked from there. Purely for business reasons.
